[Letter from William Parker to Capitaine Pierre-Jean de la Rue]..B950:Explains to Capitaine de la Rue that the English fishing customs differ from the French, especially when it come to observing the Sabbath Day laws, whichexplains the actions of the local population against him. Nevertheless, he has issued an order to the local inhabitants forbiding them to interfere with him even when fishing on Sundays.
